Update after two ocean trips. I still go over the handlebars..

And now the damn thing wont start. Has spark, fuel, and compression too.. So going to start with the stator.

gonna say key sheared, your generating spark but at the wrong time so no ignition. Usually if the key sheared the back fire is coming from as the ports are closing it will finally ignite some of the remaining charge. Sounds like yours may be just past that point to where it evacuates all of the charge out before it can ignite.

Good luck. I hate stator issues (any electrical)

Key was good and stator is still lined up. Going to try swapping the enhancer next. =/

Pulled the ebox apart and she looks like she has had salt water in it for a while... :( Pull it apart my power cable connector broke off at the starter solenoid, and the nut that holds it on is almost completly eroded away. And the reason she wouldn't start is most likely because the red wire that feeds power to the enhancer from that same battery cable had half a green coroded wire stran holding it together..

I am pretty anal with my electrics, extra layer of silicone on the ebox, all of the connections have di-electric grease, and when putting it together i torque all of the screws. I think my issue is I checked the fuse at some point and didn't put the lid back on with silicone...

Swapped to a 62t CDI and she fired right up although very smokey (figured it was burning off the fogging oil) went to the lake and wouldn't start.. Then eventually ran poorly on one cylinder with tons of smoke coming out of the exhaust..

Took the carbs off and engine was filled up to the top of the manifold with gas. Odd part is one needle was completly stuck open and the other was stuck closed. Used pliers to pull out the needle. Best part is they are brand new oem mikuni needle, seats and springs that I installed in March.. So hopefully after replacing the needles I will be able to ride her on the next trip out to the lake...

Rode awesome at first.. Then went through my first ever bad sparkplugs.(4 total) I think at @blaster800 figured it out and i have a water leak into the cylinders causing the plugs to get salty.. Luckily it was sunny and hot so open the hood for an hour and toss in new plugs and she was ready to rock again. Currenlty fogged and put away, but she will be getting a zeltronics and new head orings etc this winter.

Mine is the FP version of that chamber. I sold one already, but I felt like I gave it away. Trying to hold out on the second till the price goes back up. But, winter is coming and I could use a new sled.

hey mate i got a coffman rocket, water out of pissers is nearly too hot to touch, did you run into this issue at all? any way around it cheers

Check all your water lines from the pump to the pisser an make sure they are on tight and not split or kinked or plugged. I had a water outlet on my pump break and it looked great visually and wasn't able to tell until I removed the hose.

Instructions and tips here as well:

Yup replace those if you need too. I get new ones and drill them out so they fit a 10m bolt. The 10.9 grade bolts are zinc coated and not stainless. Also you need tighten everything up together at the same time and shim the case bolt. But biggest fix is running a hump coupler.
where do you get those rubber insert things that are circled in the picture?
