I'm gonna guess no response due to lack of folks running the Novi 48 carb on a blaster. Just a theory...
I am going to eventually be running a VERY similar setup except with a Mikuni sbn44 carb.
Maybe also check the carb spec database thread in the driveline category.
My son and I are both 6'6" tall and somewhat slim. Our rather generic jackets look and feel like crop tops on us.
Any options out there? My google search always lead to XXXL (big and tall) stuff.
Thx!!
I'm definitely interested in a AM intake grate but not sure which one to try. I believe grates for the SJ's will fit.
Desk_jockey: nice blaster build. I actually read thru that some time before buying this b1. What carb setup are you running BTW?
Roseand - are you referring to the DIY magnetic porting templates?
I find that interesting but wonder if some minor DIY port work is even a good idea. I'm game to try if it fits the rest of my engine mods. I do know I would want to keep it mild and reliable.
How about the ride plate, intake...
Hi Roseand - I really appreciate your input as well!
I actually bought this blaster (and a blaster 2) from a family in Sherwood. Hit me up if you are ever in the Oshkosh area and want to ride!
We are leaning towards keeping the single stock 44 carb for now and just rebuild and rejet it for the...
Thanks Quinc!
I was considering a 46mm carb but I'm not sure what else would be required and if it was worth the effort and time vs sticking with 44mm.
It would be tempting to buy a new 46sbn and get it ready to drop in if all that was really required was jetting it correctly. I believe it would...
Hi all,
I recently bought a bone stock 93 Waveblaster1. It seems to run decent. My 16 year old son has taken it out several times and I have taken it out briefly too.
These few rides have taught us that these are very fun to ride and that it would be a great father-son project to mod this...
Thanks Jcary85.
I don't think parting out would fly.
I also don't think he wants to mess with swapping the motor. That is a tight fit in the hull and i would suspect there would be other issues with pump drive etc.
Hi,
A friend of mine drug his 97 wave venture 1100 triple to my place last night b/c it was running bad.
Ski shows 300+ hours. He has owned it for 10 years or so. The hull is pretty beat up - shows its age and abuse. Freshwater ski.
It started with starter fluid but sounded rough.
