Not sure how it’s going to stand up but I’m tired of trying to trim behind our AC units so I filled it in with some asphalt driveway repair mix.

Ideally I would like to remove both AC units and pour one concrete slab for everything to sit on but this will have to suffice until temps drop low enough that I can get away without them.

My little cabin up in Northern Alberta had it throughout the entire 680Sq/ft and it was awesome! It was poorly done but still worked really well.
The previous owner had taken 1/2" Pex and made 2 runs under the floor in each joist space and tied it all into a 40 Gallon propane fired HWT.
Circulation was provided by a 12VDC Grundfos pump with a battery backup so that it could run during power outages.
It was not very efficient but still only burned through about $500 worth of propane a year.

What? Didn’t you just put in a pool, a shop and get the house exactly how you wanted it?

Yes, but the only way my wife and I would sell is if we moved to the lake. Plus we’re taking advantage of the market and pulling out all our equity. But I’m building another shop but not as big. Most of my skis will fit on the dock.
