Impeller or Enhancer? What to upgrade

Heres what I got....

2014 Superjet
Bpipe, xmetal pole and steering, intake grate, ADA head....

Stock impeller and iginition....

Was thinking about doing Impeller or Enhancer for the season.... with the enhancer I would do a new coil and wires too (showing some age anyway)...

If you could only pick one.... which one would you do???

Thanks

Which requires a 760 flywheel and flywheel cover as well....... Good setup, just not as easy as swapping the CDI for an Enhancer.
It is still relatively easy and is a much better bang for your buck and a mod that will work excellent on whatever engine you choose in the future.
Plus if you swap the whole 760 system, you get an upgraded coil(significantly better wires) as well.

What will nozzle boring do for me? I kind of can assume the flywheel lightning gains...

Just asking for some persepctive on the enhancer..... what makes it better?? What value will it add??
Nozzle boring can add increased bottom end at the expense of some top end. Great mod if you're chasing more bottom end.

Enhancer has an adjustable Rev limiter and a different timing curve that advances the timing in the low/mid rpm range to give a little more oomph. Your pipe revs higher than stock so if you find yourself bouncing off the stock limiter, the adjustable Rev limit will take care of that.

So on a setup like mine with a bpipe there would be ground to gain with the enhancer....

There'd be a little gain, but peanuts compared to what 300$ could get you elsewhere. Not to mention the hit or miss quality with enhancers.
Are you set on only one modification?
If not..
A CDI with a modded rev limiter ~100$ or less, boring your nozzle ~80 or less, lightening your stock flywheel ~70 would be a good option too.
Also, especially with the 37cc domes you're running you'd have no problem advancing your stator a couple degrees.

Not set on just one modification...but just looking at options...

I was going to replace the 37cc domes with 35cc domes.... Im just pushing out 150psi compression where Im at (1200 feet) I think id be safe to go up to 35cc running 91 non oxy.

Get the 760 electronics and Zeeltronics. It will do more for you then all of that other stuff combined. And you can run two curves and switch between them with a switch. (High elevation curve / low elevation curve) Then spend the time tuning your pipe and carbs.

You shouldn't have any issues with 35cc domes and premium on your setup. Has the motor ever been ported? That sounds a little low for your elevation? I'm at 900 feet and my compression is always within 10 PSI of the standard spec. Your gauge might just be reading low or your top end is clapped out.

Never been ported at all.... bought the ski brand new from the dealer so I know the history.... I guessing my gauge is off.... its just a Pile HF Special.... yeah I know i need to upgrade...

Thanks for the perspective I just think that this maybe out of the dollar range I was looking to spend...appreiciate it though....

Enhancers suck. Quality is not what they were back in the day. OCD had a great thread here showing the timing curves, and the stock CDI actually has a wider curve. You can advance your timing, and have better performance than a MSD, and this is free.

People always say the stock 08-later impeller is so great.... While it is way better than earlier SJ impellers, it does not perform near as well as a Hooker, or Modied Solas Concord. It is very thick, and heavy.

It has been my experience boring a pump nozzle with a stock impeller will only create cavitation. You need to build more pump pressure to have a larger pump exit nozzle.

Zeeltronics is a very good upgrade.

So, to your original question, if you had $300 and could/would only do one thing, I would recommend a Hooker, or Modified Solas, and then advance your timing a few degrees. A good impeller will better use the power you have. Plus you can sell your stock impeller for good money as everyone thinks they are so great....
