The Sortie was a blast this year! People started showing up on tuesday, I arrived wednesday and by thrusday i believe there was already over 50 skis on the beech. Friday evening I counted 112, with easily another 50 in the campground and people were still arriving. If you want to try out some AM hulls in the midwest this event is a must; Rickters, Krash, superfreaks, dvx/kdx, backie chans, trixstars, all sorts of splashes, basically every oem stand up, powerplants from 300s to xs1400. Getting to ride skis with different pipes, pumps, etc was hugely valuable for me. Honestly for me it was 5 days of jetski heaven, especially with gomez shredding and helping everybody with their riding form and ski setup.
