91 superjet bogging out

Hey so my 91 super jet with a 94, 61x 701 motor with stock carb. b pipe. And aftermarket head has no power going full throttle. It idles fine but has no top end power. Cleaned the carb twice. Looking for any insight on what the problem could be. Thanks

150 or so. The numbers for each cylinder should be close to each other. It will run on fairly reduced compression ok but the numbers should be close at least.

Also whe cleaning the carbs have you checked the filter in them? My carbs looked fine till I pulled out that filter and it was junk

I'll see if I can find where that is. I'm not super familiar with how these work. Are the reeds in the intake manifold? Also I checked the spark and compression and they were both good

If you pull apart the carbs from the back side, not that dimond looking plate with the tab on the bottom you will see a blank protruding o-ring and if you use a needle nose you should be able to pull it out, if you are already doing this work I would recommend a full carb rebuild kit, I'd recomend getting it from jetmaniac hes reliable and has good prices, and yes the reeds are in the intake, they are attached to the intake manifold and sit inside the casing.

i had a problem with my 650 not to long ago where it would idle fine but when you grab some throttle it would bog down and not reach the rev limiter. I thought it was carb related or a fuel issue, turn out to be my ignition coil.

What did you do to diagnose that it was the ignition coil?

Dang... is the zeeltronic in the same box as the coil?
Yah. I bought a new fuel filter and orings for the head. I'm pretty sure it isn't the fuel filter, it might be my orings, they might be leaking, hard to tell. I might get some better head studs. My pistons look good. I'll take apart the Zeel next if I have to.

Keep me posted. My new coil and carb rebuild kit just came in so I'm going to install it all and see what happeneds
