Damn man that’s insane, looks like I’ll get some noodles[/QUOTE]

Noodles are not gonna be enough to float it man, If I were you I would get a retriever bag that fastelements sells and deploy it if it sinks, that way youll at least be able to recover it.

Yep with no bulkhead or foam the rips sink faster than a rock. I lost a cooling line in a no wake zone my first time out. Within 30 seconds of thinking this thing feels heavy am I taking on water? It was 12 feet under and pulling me down on the end of the rope. My brother just made it over as I was letting go of the rope and we were able to use the back of his ski to float us as we pulled it up enough to tie the tow rope onto his ski.

Damn, added a retriever to the list for sure. A bilge pump mounted on the midshaft doesn’t seem like it’s going to help much either on this application.

The question would be,if it only sinks 5-10 feet under than will it drift off with the current? Or would you rather have it drop quickly to the bottom and stay put? (A retriever would come in handy here)
Most all the skis l have built (mostly superfreaks) from the ground up have never had foam in them. But any short ski does not have enough space in them for any foam.Ok,so this is when you add a bunch of pool noodles. Will this be enough now?
This is the currant Circus build. The pic doesn't show very well how much limited space there really is,but believe me that is not enough room for foam to be effective. And going back to pool noodles, still not enough space under the hood to do any good. With or w/o a bulkhead.
Make good friends with a diver!
