Fx1 Should i sell or build

Want to try some freestyle stuff flips and rolls would it be better to buy a used freestyle ski like a Bob or backie chan or to build mine .i know it gets expensive too build skis. my ski is mostly stock just put a pipe and head last month I have only been riding for a couple summers I mostly ride lakes but want to try and ride some surf at the blowsion surf slam any advice would help thanks
