Freestyle Fx1 with wdk bottom deck conversion

Hey guys, just Picked up a prepreg carbon f1 pro bottom deck and a fx1 top deck out of Missouri.
Top deck needs some work still but should be pretty nice when complete.

Top deck = 19 pounds with no tray
Bottom deck = 23 pounds
Hood with no liner = 9 pounds

The f1 pro bottom has a two inch setback pump and uses the full superjet drive train including the drive shaft and pump. I also plan on using bob holds to maximize my tray area

The power plant is pretty much tuned and makes great power. Currently running it in my superjet.

771 Tim judge flat top
Msd total loss
Single 49 full spec on ATP manifold
V force twos
Powerfactor pipe
11/17 hooker
Solar mag pump.

First steps are going to be reshaping the nose sanding sanding and more sanding, footholds then attaching the two decks.
If anybody has any insight on the best way to attach the top to bottom please let me know,

How do you like yours?

I love it. It's quite a different ride than my fx1 though. It rides a little higher in the water so it feels even more like standing on a log. Body/foot position is even more crucial. It was kinda rough for the first few rides. I got tossed so many times. I have tried a few grate/ride plate combo's. IMO a Worx 201 is too aggressive, especially with a mag pump. OH yeah.. you'll have to make or modify a ride plate. I am using a modified stock plate. I had to widen the pump shoe cut-out, take about .5 inch total width off, and reposition the rear mounting holes. Stock length plate extends 2 inches because of the setback drivetrain. With the extended plate this is still the most agile hull I've ever ridden. No need for d-cut. I also had to grind some of the ribs on the top side of the plate to clear the 144 and trim.

My JM/Blue 727 feels like a monster in this hull. Can't wait hear what a PFP and TL is like in that thing!

Awesome, I have a lot of the same ideas for the FX1 hull that I am getting, definately gonna keep an eye on this build.

Ran into a problem, my pfp waterbox will mount directly where the battery box is in the hull. Anybody know if there is a way i can remove the battery box without doing damage to the hull or the box itself? Looks pretty sturdy anybody have suggestions i would hate to have to cut into the box just to make my waterbox fit.
