Help Identifying 550 impeller and RAD flywheel condition

Pretty cool story I was at a junkyard for cars and they had a section for cars they sell complete running usually. It was next to the line to check out and as I was leaving I saw two 550s on a trailer. Kinda beat up, I went to look at them and saw that one was covered in aftermarket parts. Mainly I saw the fly wheel cover was off and there was a shiny aluminum flywheel. So opened my tool box and got away with the RAD flywheel. I payed for it of course and its not like I took the flywheel cover off looking, it was just one bolt. I probably payed 15 bucks for it.

Anyways if I can ask for some help before I install and test it. Does it look like there is anything wrong with it? The inside of the keyed hole is pretty scratched and the plastic on the inside is cracking where I am assuming there are magnets underneath. I saw one sold on ebay just like it but with less scratches. What should I be looking for when I test it? And I am pretty sure it will work on my js 300 with the oil pump removed.

Also I have this Skat Trak Impeller which I got from some parts ski back in the day. Seems to be for a 440 type impeller where it attaches to the driveshaft. I would attempt to install it right away but its got some dings on the blades and I would like to know what pitch etc it is. Also other peoples input to see if its worth dealing with. Its kinda scratched and dinged other wise really cool. I am also not 100 percent sure it will fit my 86 js 300

That flywheel will not fit a 300 motor, they run a unique flywheel as they use a one way clutch to start the motor. The impeller you have is a 15 degree straight pitch that will work. I would try to clean up the hub area some, where someone used a pipe wrench to remove it. As for the impeller blade edges you can just file them a bit to make it smooth.

Fair enough. Thanks for the info. I read some info wrong and thought the 550 flywheel would work. But what do you think of the condition of it?
And ya the pipe wrench marks turn me off of this impeller but I could definitely try to clean it up. My question is do you think its worth installing?
