This isn't my review, but an anonymous one from my old site.

Purchased a complete "781BB" from Jet Maniac.

Introduction: I was tired of constantly tuning/ fixing my 61x 701. I couldn't shell out the cash for a stroker or other high end motor. Jet Maniac and Blue came out with their Big Bore and I decided it was what fit my my situation the most.

What I ordered: Complete short block, 62T case with 61x cylinders, ported by blue, with ADA head and domes. Also purchased a pair of 38mm carbs set up by JetManiac. I found that I spent a great deal of time tuning my carbs on other motors. Buying pre-jetted carbs was one of the best decisions I made IMO. The power available via the 38's is perfect, and running a kart tank, these little 38's are fuel sippers. This left me to source: Starter, exhaust, Flywheel, Ignition, coupler.
With the ADA head and domes, my ski runs at 195psi on pump gas. Very snappy. The power is smooth and linear. It pulls great down low in the RPMs.
Parts I added:
Aluminum Flywheel
Starter
Limited Factory Pipe
MSD Enhancer
JSS Coil

Pros: Reliability: *knock on wood* I've never had to tinker or tune on this motor after break in. Running for two seasons so far.
Value:This motor Great power for the price. Also fantastic communication from Jet Maniac throughout the process. More vendors should take notes on his customer service.

Cons: Its a big chunk of money for a basically new 771. But the new part buys the reliability. The capability of this motor is much more evident in a light weight AM hull vs. heavy stock hull. Definitely try to ride a ski before you buy.

Analysis: Great value for people who are carb/ tuning challenged or if you want good reliable power this is a great option.

What's octane is your pump gas in Egypt ?

Around here on USA west cost premium is 91 but on east cost it's 93... You might be able to handle 35's if it's 95 or 97 octane over their. I see you have enhancer and b- pipe I thought it was, going to ride surf.

When you narrow down your search for an engine I'd let the builder/supplier help you with this question so everything's matched based on your total set up at the time and your riding style

What a suggest pump size for this motor? Would a setback 148 pump be to much? Any testing done with tHis combination?
