Good for you. As extensive of issues you’ve had, I can’t blame you if they’re not offering you solutions to your satisfaction.
When is the new batch of these skis supposed to be coming to the US? And what has Krash’s response been to these problems for the people who are dealing with them? Are they acknowledging the issues with intentions of fixing it?
This is probably the least of everyones concerns, but I thought id share. For anyone in Canada... I just confirmed with the Canadian Border Agency and there is an additional 9.5% duty on all Australian made watercraft, on top of Provincial Tax and GST or HST. So for me in Ontario, $12,000US becomes $19,200CAD
Correct you should't have to. But the way mine came from them it was all messed up. The driveshaft was touching the bulkhead. It was all sorts of out of alignment. We had to completely realign it, glad I checked otherwise the pump would've been shot on the first ride. I got the stage 2 kit from them and the pump was supposed to be aligned, definitely wasnt. I have pics to prove it.
Hey bro no need to be so harsh. If nick, Chris and Sam weren't as great of guys as I believe them to be, i would be way more pissed. But as a business owner myself that supplies specialized products and service. Sometimes I have to suck it up and repair, replace, or refund because the only thing that has driven my success is always striving to do our best and willingness to admit failure when it happens and do whatever it takes to make things right. Most times at huge personal expense. Knowing your legal rights and options is just good business and in my case allows me to be able to negotiate in an intelligent manner! I used my attorney in the same affect on three personal water craft I purchased 12 years ago and everything was settled easily and amicably still friends with the dealership. Use the brains and resources available and hopefully everybody walks away satisfied on good terms. No hating here!Hold up! You guys paid 12k for a jet ski you didn't see in person,hoped it made power,weighed 230lbs,could do backflips might last a season. Pick like half of half of those. Either pay 25k get a sick ski that runs and takes month but will run every time you hit the button or shut.the.f. up.
I give alot of props to krash,Nick Barton whoever else invested. He really is trying to change the sport. I just build hulls and barely sleep at night. I think he was shooting for that dream awhile. One can only say I built that.,I built the company,the hull,the handpole,the pump,the engine,carbs etc. How many people other than Zapata are going to be that crazy to piss away money. a 50% return over 5 years you might get But that won't change "our sport" standup aren't going to change,they're never going to be how they were in the 80s or 90s so take the next best thing to this market even if it is the Chinese pitbike of the market. Give the guy some f$king credit. You all bitch about the sport how its too much.blah blah deal with it. Get your money back and buy a different ski or deal with the headaches. A lawyer, of any kind isn't going to do ish. Its probably gonna cost you another blowsion rickter to get back any profit .It would be sick if it used mostly Yamaha parts but it doesn't so find a way to deal with it. Your getting a better ski than anything your looking at in that bracket. I'm sure in the next few years it could work out. It's no different from problems that gm,tesla and cannondale suffered. Light years ahead of the concept but the stars just don't align.
