Midshaft Question

Long story short I’m swapping everything from my 92 SN stock ski to a freestyle built reinforced 95 hull.

I got a new midshaft housing from Jetmaniac fully built because I needed the bigger housing.
I got my buddy who owns a auto repair shop to press my old midshaft into my new housing on his 20 ton press. Everything went in fine, used plenty of grease, ( I could be wrong) but it seems like the midshaft is a bit tougher to spin then it was in my old 92 housing. The 92 housing was definitely not as smooth as it is now when I spun in hand it would bind up a little bit sometimes, my main concern is that I have my shaft pressed into the bearing correctly.

It spins smoothly just takes some effort. It’s not supposed to spin free without no resistance, correct? That is all I am concerned with, I also pressed the housing in just as far as it was originally, about 19.5 mm from the base of housing to the top of the shaf.
