Hey yes their is some issues with their new trim system mine fell apart within 5 hours of riding and they wont replace the broken parts. Their customer service is terrible was treated rudly on the phone and was hung up on at the end of every conversation. Their excuse for the trim falling apart blame everything possible they can on the customer instead of taking responsability for their poorly engineered parts. Both my trim ring and steering nozzle have ovalized the holes they say i installed it incorrectly. Their is not much you can do but have a good machinist/engineer redesign it for you. Im also not the only person this has happened to i know of 5 people already with the same issue. Good to know one of the biggest jetski companys xscream makes a product and cant stand behind it. I will personally never purchase a product from them again

1. Prior to use...did you disassemble each bolt, check that the stainless bushings(X4) were installed, and red loctite each M8 bolt? The witness marks on your trim ring from the bolt head suggest that no bushing was in place. Marks like that couldn't have happened, if so. Or, the bolt on the opposing side came loose, allowing lateral, side to side play?

2. The bottom picture of your trim ring...is this after the machine shop did it's "repair". It appears that it's been modified/ground on and ovalized, already.

@Aquaholic everything was installed properly and maybe they should send the trim with red loctite on the bolts so we cant reassemble it improperly cause apparently its easy to do and none of those pics are from after the machine shop fixed it those pictures are all from the wear that occured on mine.

2 sides to every story, looks like it came loose and that’s how the hole got oblong. With any trim and turn nozzle you should always check your bolts and make sure they are not loose.
I’m sure xscream has their reason for not working with you to fix yours, maybe the way you handled it with them.
Did you send them pictures and then they decided they were not going to replace it?

Their is 2 sides to every story for sure but i check the bolts on the trim before everyride as i go over my whole ski and make sure everything is good. All just leave this here when ya run stainless bushing on aluminum like they did this exzact issue will occur. Stainless is harder then aluminum and the aluminum will wear.
