Mine is working well but it seems to keep loosening up. I don't think my bushing are bad but that could be the answer. The retaining nut seems to stay tight but it gets some slop. I think it binds some when I turn right and then loosens when I turn left. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The adjustable pivot system has me interested. Is it possible to run this system with the bars all the way back (not OVP), with straight bars, and not have to modify an OEM chinpad? That would allow me to have an easy setup now but convert to OVP easily later on. Nice product DAG.

Hi @arrover, Thanks for the complement! In regards to OEM chinpad riser bars would work if rotated back. In my opinion that defeats the purpose but alot of guys ride like that. Bars all they way back are 1.5" behind the pivot. Its a quick check is to measure 1-1/2" behind the pivot on your current setup and tape bars or (something straight) at that point and see where it would interfere.

Certainly,

By placing your handle bars over the center pivot bolt the steering geometry changes. You no longer have a “swing” feeling to your turns. In other words, the further the bars are away from the center pivot point the more your arms are moving to get the same degree of freedom in your turns.

The best way I know how you can mimic this at home would be to place something like a coin on a table. Then grab a pen/pencil and hold it like you do your handle bars. Now keeping the distance from the coin and the center of your pencil the same (about 3-4 inches) turn your pencil around the coin and notice the swinging motion your arms are making (be sure to keep your knuckles straight). Now do the same test but place your pencil over the coin and turn and notice the motion. The swing feeling turns into more of a twist motion. Many feel the twist motion makes the ski feel much more responsive. With this system you have 3 adjustments points which allow you to dial in the amount of steering swing you like best.

Hope that helps,

HI there, wondering if you have any of these left over? I'm really hoping to find a solution but am having a hard time sourcing an ovp system. Thanks! Email me bake.blaker@gmail
