Picked Up this Blaster, Randomly.

I never liked couches. I've ridden stand up for nearly 30 years of my 33 year life on earth. I switched from Kawi to Yamaha at about 20 years old, and never looked back...

I did ride a modded B1 when I was about 12 years old, and it nearly ripped my arms off. It was fun, and it was fast.

I saw this opportunity, and jumped on it for $250.

Not sure what to do with it. I was thinking of parting the motor out, and doing a 1200 conversion, as I plan to strip it down and paint it.

Motor is said to be seized. I haven't attempted anything on it yet.

Not bad for $250, I'd say.

Nice find!! The pipe is worth $600 - $750. Even seized, the motor can be parted for $300-$500, depending on condition. Great winter project!!

only if planning to race or serious bouy course riding. A good ported BB 760+ or larger twin would be fun.

Truthfully, I'm trying build something that is OEM-like reliable, but hauls ass, or at least a nice kick to the rear while on the seat.

So that is a factory pipe waterbox? I bought an old waveblaster 1 that appears to have been through a few stages of mods, but back to stock for the most part now, but I do have the same waterbox, it doesn't have any markings that I could see, and I couldn't find any info on it, it's hard to describe it online, lol, I guess that is what these forums are for!
