Replacing Wamilton's 1-Way Valve`

Hello,

I have a worn-out Wamilton's one-way surf valve doesn't seal anymore, are there any replacements that are compatible without doing any hull work? I like the idea of a magnetic one. I tried replacing the rubber with plumber's flat rubber and that did not work. Thanks!

Same here with another brand scupper but the same concept. I think you should call Wamiltons and see if he has a replacement. better yet just get rid of it. They just let in water and sink you when you least expect it.

Yup, I never understood why anyone would knowingly put a huge hole in their ski below the waterline.

Well, If you were doing flat water freestyle (Old School), it gets the water out really quick. If competing you need that water out really fast or your routine was shot. I use to run 2 Scupper and 2 Rule 500 Bilges. My edge has a scupper but I installed a Versa Plug Max in it as well. I did add a single bilge.

i had 24/7 scupper sank many times . worked great for draining as long as you were moving
any float time and ya sink
removed it and installed blowsion valve worked good but i belive its leaking as well?

Did you find a solution? I recently bought a used Wamiltons hull and tried to replace the leaking scupper with a Versiplug Max, but it's too small and has some play in the tube. Not sure what to do now...glue it in...find a piece of pipe to glue in...get something different...?

No not yet, working on putting a new 61X/62T Jet Maniac ported motor in it with a B pipe and ADA head, from a stock 61X. I am doing too many things at once haha.

Cut some rings out of an old bike tube and put them around the o-ring, now the Versiplug sits tight in the hull. Then tightened the screws and filled the gap with expanding foam. Working great for now!
Not sure i like the scupper though, the whole thing almost sank yesterday when it was upside down.
