SB products billet

so awhile back purchased a used SB products billet flywheel cover with the lexan window, when I received it I was really impressed with the design and quality and couldn't wait to put it on my xs1000 to showcase my custom super light total loss flywheel and ran it all season with absolutely zero issues. Then I decided it was time to step my game up :), I decided it was time to sell my xs1000 and go big. I ended up buying a used 1200 dasa motor here on the X. When I tore down my old motor to sell there was some water and grease in the fly cover, like a dummie I grabbed some brake cleaner to clean it up and ruined the lexan. knowing I needed a new lexan window I contacted Brian of SB products via facebook and much to my surprise he responded immediately and was super awesome to deal with, which I have found to be very very rare in this industry. So then I get my used 1200 in the mail which is equipped with a set of full billet SB products 16mm cases, and OMG the design work, programming and machining quality on these cases is absolutely outstanding...I am a CNC aerospace machinist by trade, as well as a jet ski product developer so I know exactly what it takes to develop a product this this and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with what he has done. Top notch work and outstanding customer service from SB products, we need more people like Brian in the jetski industry

I contacted Brian a few months ago about a Lexan flywheel cover and was equally impressed with his rapid response and time spent dealing with me owning a used SBP flywheel cover. Would buy from him without reservation.

Got a bit of CNC experience too, it kills me when I see products with programming flaws like dwell marks from not using lead ins/outs, or bad finish from obviously wrong speeds and feeds, good to know there are some good programmers in this industry.

I appreciate the kind words. I appreciate the fact that peeps notice. That is why I do it. I spent a lot of time trying to make the cover as light as possible so it would look as good as it worked, with no leaks. When I first did them around '09-'10, I even went back on the second run, after selling out the first run so quick, and removed a few more ounces and made it about as light as I thought was durable. I haven't changed them since.
