yep, it's lighter and I ran it in a previous hull before so I know it works. He's done alot of things to save weight to offset the 66e motor. Did you notice no scuppers or handholds either?

ive seen the heat from exhaust heat up and deform pvc exhausts before. cpvc or a carbon fiber tube mightve been a wiser choice of materials.

why no scuppers or handholds?

It'll be fine, don't forget some waterboxs are made out of the same stuff. plus a straight tube wont work because i need some kind of high point since I'm not running a water box. The water would run backwards through the exhaust opening into my pipe and manifold without running it the way it is.

scuppers sink boats, I'm done with them. A well sealed hood, bilge and factory siphon will get the job done. I'm not planning on sitting on the hood of this one.

Yeah, it is all about what the boat is made for. The REV is a arial boat, not something you want to sub or hood ride on. With that much power it would be difficult for hood tricks anyway.

When I decide to get a new hull I am opting for the X-jet b/c I am a flatwater guy. Jeff has my specs just waiting on the deposit and go ahead.

theyre plastic, but not pvc.

wow, the landing on that roll looked harsh. im not a br expert but it looks like if you tucked your body lower, youll come all the way around.

He is still getting adjusted to the power. That roll looked like it was all boat. That is nuts how high he goes just by blippin the throttle. It is barley reving up.

Nah, I just suck. I really need to work on technique. Luke is getting his rolls around bottom to bottom on borrowed skis, So I'll be studying his rolls for awhile.

You can see the power though. For that ski to get that high, w/ no trim and just float like that............damn

sclevela

X-H2O
on a side note......... that looks like abs not pvc

two totally different products.......... is the pipe foam core? foam core piping is alot lighter but will sagg and deform under normal use (which is sewer drain use.... so i wouldnt worry about the sagging thing with the support u have in the foamed area...... ) what temp range is the exhaust running?
