I have a Protec rec head with half girdle on my 701. I recently removed it and can't find my torque specs for re-install anywhere. Anyone know what they might be?

So its the same for head bolts and girdle plate bolts?
Absolutely not! The head bolts are 8mm, and Yam recommends first step = 11 ft/lbs, 2nd step = 22 ft/lbs. At that torque
they are just about ready to strip the threads in the cylinder, so if using a o ring head, 18 is quite sufficient.
I think the girdle retaining screws - the long ones which screw into the cylinder retaining nuts- are 10 mm dia.,
they would be torqued to first 17 then 29 ft/lbs.
I think post #2 spec refers to Nm- no one uses that. M-kg would be 1.5 and final 3.0
