    Brake Clean... Lots of it and no mine didn't have factory timing markings... i marked it using a sharpie and lined it back up.

    Yup, sounds like you need to replace the seals, also you'll want to pull off the cover and flywheel and clean your stator as well as the inside of the flywheel now.

    Start off doing a compression test. There's a lot of arguments as to what stock compression is, but mine stock at 4400 ft elevation was 120 psi after complete rebuild. Next do a leakdown test of the engine. Then when the motor is good to go, go find a used SBN44 and get rid of the BN44... once...
