R & D was one of the best ever ?

Seriously we used to call them reck and destroy ,, so he builds better stuff now since he has learned over the years , quite literally he would have to have gotten better over time because he could not have gotten much worse.

Never cared for R&D products.... The old school 62T Intake manifold was a bitch to deal with having the carbs so close together........... Wait, I did run the R&D stock exhaust Insert for the SXR....... That work good...........

I’ve heard way to many bad experiences with marks machinery. Use Paul lehr at LPW. You won’t regret it

I had access to the backstory on Mark from some people who were actually there when Mark took over 24/7 before he ran it into the ground , I will be brief in my assessment and just say the Mark has a long, long history of Di46ing people over , take whatever you will from that statement .

Thank you guys for these posts, I would like to say it shouldn't effect but it does get me down listening to these sort of people. We have been here since the start of the x-h20. Heck we were there when pwctoday was sold to sbt and it went backwards( does anyone remember the old mommar days as well as 111 who died of cancer rip . Heck i even lost a job because they were watching my online activity and the IT guy complained. I had moved from new zealand to australia and had lost all my friends the forum was where i went to relax and talk. Wax racing was not started until 2018. We are just simply trying to make things that are hard to come buy and most of them are suggestions from people on here and directly through facebook and or own experience

I will say one more thing here on this thread and then I am out , there seems to be this common misconception that if you have a Youtube channel and share information that somehow makes you a good guy , not so .

I am not saying everyone is like this but there are a lot of people who start these Youtube channels for two reasons , either to make money or to stroke their egos or both , very few are doing it out of the kindness of their hearts, follow the money.

Wax just keep on doing what you are doing , haters are gonna hate.

I remember well, You and I have been friends since early 2000's!!!!!! Who cannot forget Momar......... I unfollowed him on FB, got sick of his ranting BS!!!!!! Whats New. Remember 11 well. I remember when he said he bought a new SXR and STXR. Said he built the STXR overnight, Triple Pipes, Carbs, Head, Prop, everything....... Yet, we never saw a single picture. I honestly at times dont think he was real. His email was interesting....... You would have almost thought he was Mac!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember Freestylegeek losing his job for same reason as you!!!!!!!!!

I think we all know how passionate you are about the sport. You and your company have a great reputation. You filed a void when no one could get pipes. You sent out new parts to replace issues with the initial batch of head pipes. This surely cost you a mint. Your reputation is far superior than a hit piece to get views. Continue to do what you do. Their are many of use that have and continue to buy your products. There are many I should have added to my reply about supporting those that support our sport. You for sure are on that list.

Thank you. They say any advertising good or bad is a good thing and well he made the store busy and sales on pipes are actually up. I guess that's a good thing, They also say leopards don't change their spots so its only a matter of time until those people supporting him find out the truth. Yeah that was a hard time when we had to replace all those header pipes, We didn't have any spare money after that but our motto has always been a fair trade for your money and we will always do that. We always want to treat people the way we would expect to be treated, I can't say we will not have warranty issues at times its going to happen to any business but we will always stand by our customers.

In regard to erickson going off, I guess he needs to get content somehow and he really doesn't care how he gets it. When he is finished with us it will be another businesses turn, he would deny it but leopards don't change their spots. I have watched both of his videos and while it got me down for a couple of hours i did notice on his table some products we don't make and I have taken the pissed off and turned it into a new production run. You likely saw my previous post, Mark's youtube gave me hope that he had matured past the growing pains that gave him a poor reputation in the early 2000's, after all business is tough and life circumstances can pile on.

Unfortunately what I experienced was beyond inept, it was, in my opinion, pathological lying.... the guy couldn't keep it straight, he was kicking the can; i told him he didn't need to rush I just needed him to set expectations and meet those obligations.....

Where can I order the Erickson Pipe?

Sounds like you have learned the costly way with your head pipes how much they suck at manufacturing if you are not actually there and doing tight QC. I just had wedding shot glasses made by a vendor on alixbaba (purely because of cost), and I have some serous issues with them. I guess you kind of get what you pay for though as my wife said lol.

But , I'm pretty sure you got permission to copy the FP....and lets be honest its hard NOT to get stuff made there so I am not sure why he has a brick up his ass about this.
You filled a market demand as well that FP refused to do.
Sounds fine in my books if FP was ok with you doing it.

Maybe we need an American version of Alibaba. I sure would love to rather deal with Americans or Canadians to make a product and have an easy place to do it all from

Yeah we got burnt on the header pipe probably more than people know but we had to replace the pipes and resend them all out because that's the right thing to do. We were not going to have our customers put in a situation where they didn't get what we said we were going to deliver. We did not ask people send them back to us,we just asked then so show us the pipe with the holes drilled in it, no point for a known problem. You can't make this in the usa and actually make it worthwhile not because it cant be dont but you have to pay to make the moulds and we are about 35-40 k in on the cost of the mould and you have to make 200 units. No we didn't talk to factory pipe about it, they were not making it any more, or in such small a numbers people could not get hold of them. back in 2010 people were complaining about there being a shortage of pipes. It was not just a new thing that happened over covid. They hadn't made the fx1 chamber for years the rumour is it got thrown out by accident. I have much respect for factory pipe and what they have done for the industry they are a massive company and their focus has shifted, I get that. Our inbox was blowing up with people asking us to make it and we were being mentioned all over the web as the only person who would do it would be wax racing products. Now some of those people are the ones bashing us. Its weird to us their response, that being said we just add them to the block buyers list on the page, We don't want to sell to people who show that sort of attitude, these are the sort of people who will turn on you and bash again for no reason that cant be fixed in an email. We are always looking for parts that are hard to come buy or out of production, we want to keep this sport alive. However Wax racing products values will not change, We believe in a fair trade for your money and we will treat people the way we wish to be treated

yeah, his videos were real educational. I was tempted with his knowledge to send my stuff to him to work on but these negative posts have me concerned

I have a riding buddy that's had him all of his engine work. Erickson actually used his big bore engine in one of his build videos haha. My friend is aware of the negative stuff on social media but has had no issues with him and Mark gets his stuff back to him pretty quickly. Juvet is running an Erickson big bore in his v3 surf ski and he sends that thing to the moon. He seems to do very good work for some. It must depend on the person I guess.

I had him port a 62T cylinder for me for a build. It was a ripper for sure.

He’s done a bunch of milled stock cylinder heads for me as well with zero issues.
