Daytona racing footage!

Yesterday I raced for the first time in my life. Conditions were not the best waves and freeze were really challenging for my first competition. Unfortunately my support group didn't have a chance to get any footage. If anybody has some pics or videos of a pink Blaster or rider please post it under this thread or PM me.

Was that you with the pink blaster that almost wiped out Hurricane Haig and another racer in the last turn on the shore line? Sure appeared as if the tide was going out real fast causing the buoys to be even closer.

The races were cool. I hadn't been in a race before, but now after seeing one, I sure wish I had brought my X2 and entered!

You were hanging in there good in the second moto, right up until that wipeout.

Agreed! And not to mention that Volia rode in surf only once, two years ago, crashed, had stitches on her face, and swore never to ride surf again !!!

So, it was so cool to see when she grabbed the whole shot on Saturday. She was running 2nd and was within the striking distance the whole race up until a big wave knocked her down. Being that only 2 rounds of Nationals will be in surf and the rest on flat water, I think it's safe to say we officially have a contender.

She did awesome! Made a lot of the guys I know who have been riding blasters for a long time look weak - toss in the fact that it was a sloppy surf race and she had very limited experience = winning! Congrats girl! You have been officially bitten by the race bug!
