ada is the most popular by far but has some design flaws. i like tge blowsion, kommander, protec design also kommanser has a new 1 peice shell design. kommander ind by far has the nicest quality hardware too
I looked on the kommander web site and I only see the girdled head for the kawi?

cold fusion, it's only half girdled, works amazing, been running mine for 3 years no no problems 175 PSI 300 bucks

the kommander head. hands down. i know Mark Gomez is running one in his new matrix and so its ross champion

the ada is nice. the benefit to the ada is that you can change out the domes and adjust compression rather than buying a new head.
the downside is that because the domes are removable they tend to wear against the shell. So it will either wear out or you need to "rebuild it" every year or 2.

Ada best due to pricing, but one major flaw ....if you change domes a lot ( altitude ) you loosen the cylinder.>> basegasket gets distressed......blowsion the cylinder stays screwed down while changing domes.....I think cldfusion is the same way cylinder stays screwed down

i am only going by what i hear but minimum the orings between the dome and shell, and maybe the domes. i've only had ada for about 6mo working (a 1.5 year installed) so i'm not there yet. but in the last 6 mo i've learned that replacing fuel lines every 1-2 years is important, along with filters and giving the head some attention is vital on a $300+ part that i don't want to have to replace in full

there is no maintenance on a head. .. the reason i don't like ada is that of a sleeve drops (which they so all the time) there domes will have play and wear the hear she'll and dome out. them your left with a billet paperweight. of that happens on the 2 piece she'll design (which i have never seem prob due to the locking dome design.) you can just deck the top piece of the head she'll and your good to go! plus ada hardware is garbage...

when art at black jack/jet works says go with ADA i'm going to follow his word. not to say he's all powerful all knowing and familiar with every product out there. but they work and he stands by them. Thats good enough for me.

It seems as though a few engine builders use ADA heads for their builds. I wonder what the reasoning is since it seems there are other heads with a more superior design....
