First, I can't take much credit for this ski's quality and set-up, I bought it from someone many of you know (can you guess - those who I haven't already told?). I did disassemble most of the ski, per usual, and put it back together to make sure everything was perfect. Did some wiring work, some homemade CF details to the hood, and worked with Abe at Northgraphics to get my latest company logo and graphic package together on it. (A.'s great to work with). Other than that, the previous owner gets all the credit.
Overall, it's super clean with a lot of attention to the fine details. Using it to ride with my wife while on her SXR, I have an FX1 build going on for my true freestyle/wake jumping ski.
Specs:
Riva 61x ported cyl
Riva girdle head, 35cc domes, ARP bolts
Factory Type IV drypipe
MSD TL, dual channel
40mm Mikuni I-body carbs (SXR style)*
Moto T Reeds
Skat 140mm 12 vein setback pump
Skat ext driveshaft
Skat 14/20 Swirl prop
R&D shoe
Sato nozzle
Wammers CCF ride plate
Worx grate
Umi bars/steering
PJS throttle and tiny tach
* I know, not typical. Going to try them, as the previous owner spent a lot of time making them fit with a custom intake adapter. Nice set-up, easy to pull for jet changes. Have the stock 38's if these don't work well.
The wiring for the TL/start soln. is tucked in behind the battery and exhaust hose. The previous owner also made a cool bracket for the coils that nests on the odyssey battery, and uses the batt straps to hold it.
I am really happy with this ski's shape, but haven't taken it out yet. Can't wait until spring...
