SX/SXi/SXi Pro X Metal adjustable steering setup install

So I want to start off by saying that I am very happy with this kit as a whole, I realize that this is a universal kit and am just trying to figure out the best setup for my ski.

Just got this kit and I am installing it on a stock 750 sx pole.

First is a pic of the entire kit

Second and third pics are of the best way I could come up with to assemble the kit but I needed to add one of the washers from the stock steering setup

Third pic is the kit assembled, this seems as though it would work although i don't like how high up on the steering stop this puts the turn plate see pic 4

Fifth pic shows the gap I have when only using pieces from the kit to assemble

Last pic shows 2 bushings which I could find no use for, although might be needed on a superjet or aftermarket pole

The other issue I see is that when I removed the stock steering stem the hole is much bigger hole than the bolt, and the kit only supplied one bolt so I had to use a second to get the assembly together.

I could possibly turn down the piece that goes through the turn plate, and thread the stock pivot bolt back in and cut it down and drill the center out to make the turn plate centered.

Looking for any input, I am also emailing X metal and will post up any replies for anyone who is interested.

Thanx
Jon

After a couple emails back and forth with Rick at Xmetal it turns out this steering setup was not designed for stock kawi poles. He offered to refund my money and even offered to let me keep the straight bars for my trouble. I decided it was way too close and would keep it and make it work. I have emailed these pics to Rick and the R&D dept will look into it after the world finals to see if they can add a kawi adapter to the kit.

First pic Is of the stock mount with the pivot bolt cut down and drilled

next 2 pics are of the spacer, this was part of the factory setup and it was the right size to keep the allen head bolts for the clamps from hitting the mount (pic 4)

I am very happy with how the ski handles not that I can get my weight a little further forward. I have the bars as far forward as they go and the steering cable runs out of throw just as it hits he stops
