ok so the little bit ive been around ive read the threads about the buildups and stuff like that. and when reading some of the foothold threads im thinkin how hard can this stuff be?? lmao damn its a huge pain in the a$$ my hats off to all you guys that do this stuff, cuz after this i dont know if i want to do another one lol. crappy thing for me is that i just got the ski puttin a few bucks into it and selling it makin a few bucks so i can by my sj and then i have to do it all over again. thong has pics and im sure when he gets off his butt he will post them, they are all custom from scratch.

Homemade footholds like that are the way to go, a little time and effort and you get exactly what you want. Spend the $100 you save on gas. Lookin real good man!

Post up after ya ride in them and tell us/me if you like the shape or if you would change anything. I have an ol 550 for beatin up that Im thinking of making my own footholds too. So if you dig yours I might mimic your shape,also see if youd like them where they are or if the need to go forward or backward a bit.(not saying anything bad about yours)

I couldnt have been more pleased with Rahl's responce when he saw it finally finished. It took me forever. but none of these pics posted truly show what was involved in this project. It COULD have been so much easier had it been done differently. I was brought in on this well after the fab process had begun and as a result had some real challenges to overcome before I was satisfied that the job was done properly. Mark had some great Ideas with his design, but his execution made my job more difficult.

I cant wait to take this thing for a spin. I may be doing Foot Holds part Deux after this, But the process will be much different.
