foot strap that is...

decided to put one on the rear and want it to be removable... bla bla bla..

check it:
  1. 1.25" hole saw w/o the arbor and bit to cut a pretty hole in the turf
  2. remove any glue
  3. epoxy washer w/ acorn nut to tray
  4. re-insert plug and glue around the sides
  5. align the stap and mount it
now you have a easily removable stap w/ turf remaining in tact...

Hopefully this will help w/ surf stance rolls and other fun stuff..

best part is that I still have use of both footholds while it's in due to widening my tray to 16" in the rear... My tray is the same size as a SXR now...

yea some guys still do but he said when joe finally convinced him to stick one in front his riding got alot better...just make it removable so you can try it out..i cant see the front hold keeping you locked in during slashes and reentries like a strap would but mabye you like that bit of float...i know i did or thought i did until i strapped in

I'm with you on this. I rode my ski @ 8 times, I've moved my strap once & think I want to move it again:banghead: I like to move in the tray but it is nice to stay connected:smile:

i moved mine a few times and i still need to get the rear strap more sideways

How does that High Roller front foothold compare to your front mounted Dakine footstrap that you use to run?

Me and LBE both have had great success w/ the front foothold... :cheer:

I like it for the manuverability... I can put my front foot where I want to (from side to side) and still be locked it very tight, if I want to. A strap will require you to adjust and fine tune the position... The front hold is a mount and ride mod that requires no adjusting....

The reason behind the rear strap is that I think it's good to have the rear foot centered in the back of the ski for balance... I noticed that it would throw me off sometimes, if I would have the rear foot in the left hold... it kinda puts you in a offset position... (I don't know, just feels strange)...
