My old red and silver 840 X2 coughed up a big end rod bearing so I figured it was the right time to park it. The hull was heavy from too many repairs and over building things from the begining. So here is my new 840 motor and new unmolested hull. I built the hull for a friend a few years a go and he had a 750 in it. Then he built a big bore with a builder out here in NH but never put it together. He decided to sell out so I got it for $2600 with a fresh motor in abox and a hull that was already set up the way I like. It took me about 2 weeks to get it togehter with the weird things I like done to my stuff. So here she is. It is better in every way than my old X2. I like the SX cylnder better than the SXI cylnder I use to run for freestyle. I am really happy with the guy that built the motor. It is soo nice being able to drive down to his shop if I have questions or need something weird lke I usually do.
Here are some pics and video I have of it so far. I have been babing it on the lake while I work on a few things.

This video is kind neat at the 22 second mark.

No intake grate on the lake to make it super loose.
Here is a pic of a little race track we made Monday. With the back end chopped and no intake grate it would rather crave the turns than go down the straights, which is fine with me.
Specs:
Dual 46 SRE carbs 135 Low ,137.5 High, 2.3 Needles, Springs ?
V-Force 2 reeds
Stock stroke
85mm Wiseco pistons
ADA head with copper head gasket an no Orings on the domes. No room for them so you have to run copper. Never been a problem. Not sure what the domes are. The motor was assembled by PCM but it has 190PSI
Motor was built at Performance Cycle Machine in Lee NH. I am very happy with him.

Factory pipe Superjet mod chamber with ported 650 manifold. Top screw open about one turn. Keep the pipe cool enough to barely sizzle at the coupler. Sometimes cooler.
Melted the tank to fit.
MMF water box.
650 electrics. Need to advance them more. I am a little conservative at this point. I might try it almost completly advanced to the left next time I have it apart.
Pump, stock SXR big hub impeller with TBM pump cone I had adapted at PCM to work in the 650 pump. I had the impeller cut back 6mm too.
Dual cooling, 3/8 line to manifold, 1/2 line split to 3/8 to the bottem of head pipe and manifold. 1/2 line goes all the way to the pump.
Hull, cut down in the back so it is flush all the way across, about an inch shorter.
Air is taken in behind the hump on the hood by the steering and the tube tucks in down under the carbs. Seems to be as dry as anything I have run.
Front sponsons, I can't ride an X2 without them. It is like night and day.
UP trim actuated bay lever on bar.
Accusteer, withs stock padding for teeth and floatating. Don't want to loose this on the bottme of the lake so I have lots of foam in it.
Two 500 bilges, one home depot scupper, 1 1/2 in pipe I think.
Slingshot Windsurfer binding with 1" padding under heels, carved out under balls of feet. I will get better pics.......
Dry weight: 310 Dry using ligth weight NAPA glass mat EXT 9 battery with 120 CCA.
About to get a light weight bed plate to save a few more pounds. This is about 40 pounds lighter than my old X2. It was a tank, ask anyone in Daytona that helped me with it.
