figured there needs to be something for people to learn what and what not to do when riding in waves larger than a boat wake. if you have any rules you live by add it on!
1. dont let go!
2. run a bilge pump
3. run a limiting rope
4. never ride alone
5. wear a helmet
6. leave water/air separator open enough to drain
7. if held under, hang onto your ski and relax. you dont want to use up your oxygen.

1. Don't check water depth with the nose of your ski! :grumble:
2. When coming up short an a b/f, don't let go. :splatt:
3. Bring a camera, everyone goes bigger. :clown:
4. DON'T RIDE ON THE BACK SIDE OF A WAVE! People will be coming toward you and have no steering controll in the air. :toothache:
5. Hood straps are a must.
6. Bring spare plugs, preferably cut plugs for water ingestion.

Cut the grounds off, so the spark has to jump from the electrode to the rim (close to threads). Much harder for the water to get in between there and short it out.

Where do you keep your tow rope so that is easy to access?

I have a ratcheting hood latch/strap system with one strap going down the middle of my hood. On that strap I have a sunglasses draw string bag with my tow rope in it. Easily accessible. You can kinda see the bag in this picture.

I have a tow loop in front and a rope tied through the bow eye in the back.

Mine is double looped around my waist kinda like a belt. I can usually get it off with one hand pretty easily.

I wrap mine around my hood straps... my limiting rope can be used as a tow rope too... don't make it any longer than 3'-4'...

Wydopen... you need to add a tow loop on the front. gotta get ready for when it starts to get big. can't messing around, trying to get a rope through the front hole and tying a knot. but don't bother with a back one, you'll never be towing anyone... hehe

just run a short rope tied in a loop. just small enough that none of your appendages will get caught.

except your toes (if you ride barefoot like a man)
