i said option 1 because between the holds is just a flat piece, with a tiny amount of foam under it. If your doing a whole foam job, cut out the front end of the gunwals also, as there is wet foam there too. my ski leaked primarily from the both ends of the exhaust tube.

you have to do 3, cause the pump bolt holes leak on all of em... that is one of the first spots it starts to come in... remember to 5200 the top of the nuts before you glass over it again.

dang! worst of the wetness was:
- Around the exhaust outlet (no surprise there)
- Around the connector to the shaft
- All along the bond line :puppy_dog_eyes:

gonna change plans, have to reseal and reinforce the bond line
so I have to pull the motor to do it right :scratchchin:
so I might as well true the bottom . . .
blueprint the pump. . .

I feel a build thread coming on . . . . .

I did option 1, but may switch to 3 before its over for the obvious reason.:puppy_dog_eyes:
