Tor*p*do go a head and run a trim tube while you have it apart so you can seal it up real good, then just plug it until you need it
I like either stainless or plastic of some form for corrosion protection:biggthumpup:
If you missed the pre-op drama tune in here: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/28758/post-406621#post406621
Cut the floor out. Worst leakage was along the bond line, at the exhaust outlet and along the firewall.
Time to change plans. Need to fill and reseal the bond line.
So I need to pull the motor
And while I am at it, I should fix and true the bottom . . . . :Banane35:
It never ends!
looks like a good start...
what are your plan for the rest of the build?
Torp. does Greg Core know about any of this? LOL, looks like a good project. I had a 1990 SN and did all the same things. Bond line was cracked all the way around along with major glass repair. I dug all the stock glue out and sealed it back with 5200, worked great, the skis still at the shop. What kind of power are we talking about? If you want to go big(if you already havent), Chuck has a mint stock 760 for sale. Let me know if you need anything.
PS. Talk Greg Core into some footholds
