I'm doing a slight build on my blaster this winter and am going to source a bunch of what I need through http://www.mcmaster.com/ . I've had great luck with this site in the past and, at least for me, their standard shipping is crazy fast... sometimes even next day. Well, they've got a ton of useful stuff on the site for our sport, but it isn't exactly easy to find. Between what I've found there while looking for stuff I need and what I've found with a quick search of the boards I've got quite a list going so I thought I'd share. Unfortunately you'll have to copy and paste the part number into the search field on the site due to them not supporting direct links.

This is a work in progress, so please post up if you have anything I missed, alternate pn's, or if you find an error and I'll come back and update the original list.

Also just a general request for those wishing to contribute...

Please don't post up part numbers you know are already on the list unless you are commenting about how well they do or do not work/fit. Also, when contributing pn's please make sure it's obvious to me (someone w/o a sj) what these parts are for. No need to write a novel, just a couple word description of how it relates to a ski should be enough. This will just make it easier for me to keep this thread updated and more importantly useful.

*Quick disconnect note: The buna o-rings that come on these are NOT rated for use with gasoline, hence the corresponding viton o-ring part numbers. As listed, only one side of each pair has a shut-off valve. I intend to put this on the tank side of the connection. There are two pairs listed for fuel line so you can have the on and return lines connected differently to avoid hooking them up backwards.

Ha! Great idea... I did a similar thing by myself... just did a search for mcmaster on here and pwctoday and ordered anything I saw that applied!

I would like to add a few things to contribute:

9610K18 - 3/8 brass grommet kit with tool and 24 grommets to make some blowsion or other hoodstraps work with the pole bolts. (the grommets they come with are too small)

3014K15 - special locking nut that keeps your UMI bearing kit tight on your pole.... otherwise it has a tendancy to get sloppy.

91458A14 - little bottle of blue loctite (enough to last a long time)

91458A160 - little bottle of red loctite (enough to last a long time)

7566K13 - little zip-tie brackets to use under your hood lip after you rip all the old ones out while reinforcing

69915K54 - part that works well for making the CATS trim system- you put it on the end of the a 1/2 pvc pipe and it clamps down on your trim cable making it water tight... then later you can easily remove your cable and reinstall if necessary.
