1100 b1

I have been slowly working on this project over the last few weeks. It is a compilation of all free parts thus far. The motor is in to just make sure everything lines up. Let me know what yall think so far.

I have one of those buddys that has more money that sense..... He has a B1 built by Riva with an 1100 in it. I keep trying to buy it from him but he doesn't know if he wants to sell it. And it hasn't been in the water in 3 years.

Is this package a nice running ski... I mean fun to play on or just a straight line rocket?

We always said it was a boat Yamaha should have built, Dont expect to set speed records most of them end up in the low 60s,
but the hole shot is insane
a Shreadmaster rideplate made mine handle like it was on rails

kind of sad I sold mine,

I set it up with rear exhaust and used a carbonfiber silencer and a custom build waterbox under the battery , it was still loud.
If i recall I used a solas 15/20

Do you have any pictures of the setup under the battery?

i just put a Squarenose TDR waterbox on its side in the rear under the battery.

i am going to be using a wetjet pipe on my 61x blaster this year... i dont want to drop the coin on a factory pipe.
i had to put the waterbox in the rear to accomodate the rear facing wetjet pipe.

here are some pics

That thing is awesome. Holeshot has to be sick!

Pulled the motor back out & did some more glass work on the mounts & cut the bulkhead for the exhaust. Does anyone know of a place that sells a rear exit exhaust outlet? for like a SJ or SXR I could use on this.

finally did a little more work to it. I chopped about 10" out of the stock 1100 waterbox and welded (don't laugh, every time we pressure tested it we found a few pin-holes so we went with the more is better approach) it up so it would fit in the rear. I also went with the 1100 outlet inside the pump area to cut down on noise. I'm hoping to be able to water test it in the next few weeks. Let me know what ya'll think.
