Hey, I know it's WAY early to be talking about this, but it's just on the top of my head today:

I know we all talked about this in the few days following the 2009 Freeride, but I just want to have it made CLEAR now so there are no issues when we get there.
That being said.......Since the ride is ONLY for stand ups, X2's, and Blaster I's, do ALL of us as riders and participants allowed to address ANYONE who is in the riding area riding anything other than one of those model skis?

I just remember last year with the guys on the Ultra that no one addressd because they thought they were part of the promotional staff or something (actually, I think one was a photog, but the other wasn't and almost caused some serious accidents).

Is it safe to say that any of us can pull them over and tell them to get lost?
Or is that going to be the specific job of someone?

we just need some special decals......unauthorized boats are to be tagged, let shame do the work
I thought we DID get stickers of some sort. Didn't we?
For some reason I remember them being like 2 year old expired registration stickers....maybe I'm wrong, I don't remember.

you can't legally kick them off of the water. it's a public beach open to all jetski's. that doesn't mean you can't shame them off of the water.:fart:

I know the guy who was on the Ultra.

I called him prior to the event and got his office manager, (secretary), I left a message telling him "not" to bring a couch, or even a love seat. He has an x2. I thought he would bring that.

He now has a pretty "kick-arse" blaster, which he bought from one of the St. Aug. crew. I'll make it a point to talk to him ....seriously....about the couch thing. He came pretty close to me too that weekend.

He is a good guy, and I'm hoping he will understand....and act accordingly. However, I can't "control" the guy. I've already refered him to some of the more critical threads about the red ultra.

As far as nobody stopping him from riding last year........ Although he lives in South Carolina, He grew up in Daytona and has many friends there.

Again, I'll do my best to have him leave the couch at home.

wasn't he posting videos from daytona last year on youtube saying that he puts on traveling jetski shows? i beleive demon had some of his comments deleted on youtube.....

I don't know anything about his you-tube posts. I don't even know his last name. But I do have a way to contact him prior to the event. And I will do that.

Nor do I know anything about "traveling shows". I doubt that is true. He has a business to run.
