When you do a Kaw 750/800 engine into a 650 X2 you just reuse the stock Kaw X2 driveshaft. I put a 750 SS into my 650 SX some years ago. I just used the 750 engine and the rest was all 650 stuff (Pump, electrics, ect...)
Now I am not positive about the pump swap because I tried that once but never finished the project..... So if you do have the 750 pump in your X2 please by all means post the pics up!!! I am curious to see it. Here are the pics from my test fit:
Now as far as driveshafts go, I parted out my old 95 X2 and my 91 650 SX. They are not the same drivesfat as many people assume they are! I guess since the 650 SX and 650 X2 use a lot of the same parts people assume that they are the same shaft. One is longer than the other. I sold one of the shafts so now i have no clue as to which one i still have..... Oh well
