Looking for Video

I have searched and searched and I cannot find this particular video, I mean nothing not even on VHS which is probably the format it came out in the first place. This is a first one for me, there are NO signs of it. All I get is:

"Sorry, this item is either discontinued or does not exist."

The name of the Movie/Documentary is "The Wave Hunters" or "Wave Hunters". I believe Herbie Fletcher and Randy Laine are in it, they are surf riding some BIG waves in Hawaii but not sure of the location.

Do you have this movie? Wanna sell it?


p.s: maybe I am wrong about the whole thing... :dunno:

NO. Way before iMax. This is like an 80's film, maybe even before that.

I tell you what....I challenge ANYONE on this board to find it online, Not as a Youtube clip (not there either) but the actual Video for sale.

I have been looking for a week already and nothing :(

Interestingly, IMDB doesn't have Herbie Fletcher doing any filming in the 80's and Randy Laine as doing no filming until 2003.

Doesn't mean anything, but interesting.

Using the search criteria given, I've been coming up blank as well. My guess is the name is wrong.

I know....it's driving me insane.

The ONLY thing I have found so far is this:

But no picture or description, is 30 min. long and dated 1991 so I am not really sure about it.

That would require having a vcr hooked up, digging the tape out of a box that I'm not sure where it is, and since mine is a copy of a copy, I'm not sure it shows the beginning. I'll try to remember but tonight is a busy night at home.

I knew it would require a lot of work. Not too many VHS around anymore.
Yeah, whenever you get the chance it would be awesome so we can at least get more details, specially the name and duration, etc...
The link I found could potentially be it, but I rather be sure....

Its called wave hunters
I think In addition to Randy and Herbie, Bob Mogan Scott Watkins and Doug Silverstein are in it as well havnt watched it in 15 years or so

Wydopen posted a link to it on closeout for something like $3.00
