That turf looks sharp. Good work!

Thanks man.

I bolted and epoxied the ffh on yesterday and had enough time to snap this pic tonight. My wife, myself, and my two kids have been living at my inlaws since last wednesday while our hardwood floors get redone after a water leak. This sucks. I want to sleep in my own bed and I need to work on the skis but life keeps getting in the way. I hope to move back in tomorrow and get this ski done this weekend so I can start on the wdk ski.

Closer to a lightweight rn. It is wider and shorter (and of course waay lighter) than a oem rn and was the last hull made by Berky before he started making the first hulls he called a superfreak. The bottom deck is far from oem but it doesn't have all the design changes incorporated into the first superfreaks like the added rocker.

Finally getting a chance to work on my ski. I had to drive 6 hours away this weekend to deal with getting my father in a treatment program only to have him leave against medical advice while I was driving home the next day.

Turfed the ffh. I had to cut a pump insert out and redo it that stripped out and was spinning inside. I really hope to finish it this weekend.

Pump and midshaft and motor are in. I had to slot the motor mounts and the bedplates in order to get maybe two mm of space between the coupler halves. I also had to slot the atp stop its in order to get about one mm of space between the stop its and the bedplates. That motor doesn't have much room in either direction.

Trim and steering and custom pad on the pole is done too. I spent an hour getting the total loss on a new peice of acrylic and then dropped it and broke it and had to redo it.

All that is left is stickers, fuel lines, gas tank, exhaust system, and switches for the total loss and bilge and a primer bulb installation. I also need to install the versiplug r hull drain for the tray.

This hull has so much room to work between the motor and the bulkhead compared to my bob. Im sure that will affect my backflips a bit but this hull and hood weighs 30 pounds less too.

I had my couplers that close for a while. I don't know if it was causing an issue or not but I was advised to give them some more room so they don't hit every time you land vertically. I'd run them the way they are for now but something to consider next time you have to pull the engine out.

My ski is hosed... Got about $200 worth of stuff from 3 places on order to fix two different issues. So unless mcdog gets his going, you'd be the only one riding.

I wish we were too. Hopefully next year it wont be on the same weekend as the macon race and I will have my skis running.

NASA couldn't pull it off today but I did.

Still short one Jetmaniac graphic and actually I'm chinpad-less until monday when a replacement part from X-Metal comes in.

ADA billet 850cc motor
Dual channel MSD total loss
144 mag pump with 14/19 prop
Berky's carbon waterbox
4 gallon gas tank from Jeg's
X-metal adjustable pole and steering
Thrust trim system
Tons of other odds and ends

Special thanks to:

damn good looking ski...the white turf and stixs really set it off. Plus a real clean build. Looking forward to riding it.
