I'm sorry your ski got wrecked. You did a very nice job on it. I really liked the turf job too. The purple diamond plate was a very nice touch. I hope you get to build it back just as nice.
Did the bass boat guy get stuck with a bill or any charges? Or did he just get to run you down and walk away?

I think that ski belongs lucaumpits. or at least that's who was riding it at the spring wavedaze. I'd say Berky built the tray to his specs.

Thanks! I was very proud of this ski. Hopefully I'll get to ride enough to break it in this time around.

Wow! That was a damn nice fx-1. I got a old bare fx-1 hull you are more than welcome to if you decide yours isnt fixable. It would only be worth it if you or someone you know was coming down this way, its not worth anywhere near the cost of shipping. It has no major cracks, its just rough. BTW, i'd burn that Basshole fishermans house down! lol.

It'll buff out, lol. Do you have another piece to put in there? I wouldnt mind cutting the side of this ski off and sending it to you if you pay shipping of course. Im honestly going out of my way to get rid of this thing but I cant bring myself to just throw it away for no reason.

Finally doing something besides sanding. It's almost ready to reassemble. I'm going to spray a lil appliance epoxy on the repaired areas and let it ride for this season. Turf is still new so I'll prob paint the entire ski when it's time for turf again. I chopped the fire extinguisher tunnel out of the hood and filled the top breather holes. Should I fill the front holes too? Hood liner turned out pretty good. Biggest piece I've made to date. Used some political litter and duct tape to make a mold.

Here we go again. I keep thinking I've found better, and she keeps taking me back. Time for some tray and bond rail updates. Going to need some motivation to finish by Daytona.
