i should have added that. i only ride flat water unless i go to lake michigan which can sometimes be like small surf. so i could learn how to do those without a trim system?

I've helped install both the xmetal kit and the thrust kit. Thrust hands down is way better quality than the xmetal kit

i almost clicked buy on a trim system but my love is for surf. if i was going for straight flat water it would be a must.

save up the money, try get the nozzle and reduction separeded , and get the thrust, will last forever

Search for C.A.T.S (cheap @ss trim system) lots of good threads on people DIY'ing them.

Does the thrust kit use the wave raider nozzles?

im not sure. and it looks very simple to make. i have a mill and lathe and my dad is a damn good machinist so i think between the two of us we can probably make one

I don't do back flips but if I did I am guessing trim is a must along with big HP. I have trim and use it for nothing, actually my pump is off the ski right now and it won't be going back on.
