Is the factory pump out of a 2001 Yamaha XL 800 and use to a Superjet setup? Can it be used as a stock 155? I have a junker I got in on a trailer and need a pump for new hull.

No that pump will not fit in a Superjet. Those are the newer style 155mm pumps that mount to the front(like a seadoo) instead of the top. You need a 155mm pump from a older xl760, WaveBlaster 2, waveraider 1100, GP760, or the like.

actuallyy the pump from a xl700/2001 is exactly what u need - and the impeller is quite good too - but need some glass work and an 155 shue - best is my ideea to make a pumpshue without seal ring like oem style
