Which hood on my Superfreak?

I'm placing an order with Tem for a new Superfreak and I can't narrow down which hood I want to get on the thing.

I like the original hood for the classic Badass look, but the new hood is apparently stronger and offers a lower center of gravity to the ski.

Check the GIF below and cast a vote in which direction you think I should take this.

Edit: the taller more pronounced hood is the original design.

The one with the lower profile for sure looks best in my opinion

Whichever is cheaper. They both weigh nothing and are strong as crap.

The low one is stronger as the inner and outer linner are bonded down most of the center .

I don't know man, I've seen a few SF Badasses throw some sweet tricks.

I know this might sound silly but I feel that function should come first. The original Badass Surf hood allows for more pipe options does it not? Maybe Tem can chime in on this but I beleive the original hood will clear a Type 4 and possibly a SXR dry pipe. If you feel that will never be an issue then the Freestyle hood does look better imo. Has strength ever really been an issue when it comes to SF hoods? I dont like limiting myself.

Strength has been an issue for a few, but we go real big. That being said I need to do some more work on my hood this winter. If you ride flat water I wouldn't give either a second thought, get what you want. If you ride surf or boat wakes get the stronger of the 2

Definitely get the new design. It is way better looking and still strong as nails!

In the next 2 months we'll have a inbetween hood that will have a linner like the low hood with extra area for high dry pipes. The low hood has more clearance in the spark plug area and that is good when the ski is under water with the throttle pinned as vacuum pressure is hard on hood linners .

The real question is what length will it be?

She'll measure in at -7". I want that full tray action and a shorter hull , which negative seven is about the most you can do both with. Morphed this titan into what it should look like.

Still debating on that hood Tem. I'll have to chat your ear about that new hybrid hood you've got in the works.

The topdeck gunwhales get shortened too on the -7 titans? That may change my shortening plans.
