DIY Total loss or MSD TL upgrade box 270USD?

And for the 760 purists and those who can afford a 760 box: it fits well, might possibly pad it a little to keep from moving around a bit (like in rattling) which might be hard on the ribbon cable.P1040073.JPGP1040074.JPG

Has anything done back to back testing with this new A02T model versus the original? Curious if this “spark gain” is noticeable and worth the change.

These units just came out, too early to expect back to back testing maybe. Borut claims stronger spark at high rpm- that would / should be good for boat chasers or racers. I think Borut found better, larger capacitors for his new units that charge up faster.....

How old is this quote? Old news. Not sure if they were corrected or not but the ones I got about 2 years ago just didn’t fit properly.

Yessir, got it. As far as I recall, in 2018 or 2019, I sent you the money you asked for, refunded the money for the 760 covers you purchased, made you and your company whole for the damage to your stator/pickup, flywheel, and time, including shipping.

I never questioned you or why the parts didnt work for you, I have built at least 50 of the 760 covers since 2010 or so and I have never received a complaint from anyone that the 760 cover didn't fit, or didn't work in anyone elses ski, so I don't see the need for you to disparage my company, or my products.

I received a few messages recently concerning availability of my 760 cover to work with this ignition, and also a message about your post, so I came in to look.

I just was doing people a favor as to keep them from hurting their electrical system. You did the right thing for sure, I never said you did anything wrong but they were clearly no correctly designed. I measured then against OEM covers and showed you why my stator and flywheel were damaged. If someone questions you about these, then either tell them they are good now, or that I was wrong. But my opinion from that time stands. They were not done correctly. I wish they were or that you’d had a new design that works properly (I’d be the first to buy them again). You make great products. Don’t get defensive that you are questioned about a product. That’s business. We all make mistakes. You 100% did the right thing by me.

Can someone double check this curve on a pdcis01t? Specifically the static angle. I am trouble shooting this unit for a buddy. He says it's backfiring. 3rd lobe is ground off.

yeah the 54 degree static angle is meaning your whole curve is 2 degrees advanced. I would think you are getting a little high in the mid range and would be looking at that very carefully

Thanks for the response guys. I broke down and pulled my 02t from my freestyle ski for comparison. I flashed the 01t to match. Hopefully that takes care of his issues.IMG_20200909_164601.jpg
