Quick HydroTurf install question for a 750 sxi pro.

I just pulled of the tray mat and the purple tray sides. My question is that do I need to fill in and fiberglass over the side cubbies and what about the bumper trim? I have attached pictures with there areas circled (the pictures are not of my ski). I have t he hydro turf kit without the foot holds.

Ok so you have the freestyle kit. The only other kit hydro turf sells is the one with the digger foot wells. Reason being, they only have to make one kit for people that already have the cubbies glassed over or intend to do so. While people who still have the cubbies just have to modify the turf a bit. Cutting around all the corners of the cubbies would be difficult. Try this instead. (Also I have the purple trim removed, although it does look sick with your color scheme right now.)

Thanks for the picture, I haven't actually seen any installs on a 750. I was thinking that I could also just paint the trim and not install the turf.

Forsure, let me know if you need more. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a YouTube vid of someone doing a full 750 re-turf from start to finish. Needs to get made.
And yeah you can do that, would involve less glue and mess if you take the trim off to paint. What color would you paint it?

Probably black to match the turf.

Do you still have the plastic covers for the sides? If they are in good shape I would be interested in buying them. Also, as stated above you can totally just trim the turf around the cubbies. I personally think the trim looks nice, and you should avoid painting it. Trim around that area carefully and it can look really nice :)

Yeah that skis a time capsule. Vinyl wrap could be an option to give you a color change and that’s also easy to undo.

I still have the purple plastic covers, but the lower tabs are broken on both (doesn't affect visual look). I can make a ebay listing if you want. The only problem is finding a box.

These are not the final pictures - I cut out holes for the side cubbies, back hole, and for the side spontoons. I will probably post a picture of it out on the lake soon.

Thought about vinyl but I thought that $200 was a bit much for something that doesn't bother me much. I will probably be focusing on performance now. The only problem is that no one sells 750 pipes.
