    Nobody takes the hub out to lighten it as far as I know, change out the msd to a stock cdi to test, as they are known to go after a 'bunch' of years.

    Check the squish with solder, cut the head leaving .040" minimum, pretty safe if you leave it at .050".

    After 3 Ballistics and a AG, I bought 2 Battery Tender brand batteries (1 as a spare to keep at my cabin). I leave the lithium battery tender on it all winter, going on 3 years on the first one still. It is also mounted up high out of the water!

    Towing a ski at speed will push water thru the pump, the cylinder and into the pipe and possibly drown the motor if the pump remains in the water, so be careful of that. I have a SX230 also, great boat, the jet wash will cause issues if you plan on Towing something close behind.

    New Years ride, quite a few hangovers, I was one but had to clean the track for everyone else. My wife's first day out this season! She quit for 8 years from a broken back and wrist, she's happy to be out again and so am I!

    That's left a mark! Lol Bikes are so clean in winter, and only have to wash air filters once a season (almost!). The chain also likes life with no grit!
