I think ive got a 650 chamber... its noticeable smaller and has factory pipe stamped in big letters on the chamber.

had a similar issues... did a leakdown test and the motor checked out good. turned out my primer had gone bad over the winter and was letting in alot of air.

that stuff doesnt wear out though. ive seen skis from the 90's with that stuff and it still looks good.

man that sucks balls! possibly try left hand drills and heat. if your lucky it would break free when your drilling and it will come out.

Its kinda off topic but something that could generate some more $$ for the site. What I have seen in the past that worked quite well was a option to make your post a sticky for a week. I think it costed $4 in order to so do. It got so popular that they were taking up 1-2 full pages of stickys.

heavy and not as much power but much better then stock. if running it its highly suggested to run a girdled head too.

even if it has a 61x on the cylinder it could have 650 cases on it. By the looks of the intake manifold i think its a 650, but I gotta double check some parts ive got to be sure.

Something to check, ive made the mistake before of connecting the pulse line in the wrong spot on my SXR. Was crankin the :-):-):-):-) out of it with no avail. After one dead battery and lots of swearing I noticed I had the lines wrong, switched them around and she started in about 10 seconds...

BB arent time bomb's. They only are if you try and bore out a stock 701 (81mm) to 84mm then the sleeves gets real thin.

Drill them until you just began to see the original threads. you dont want to go to the next size. once you can see the threads completely then you can run the tap to get the metal out of them.
