Just a FYI, the big 20" buoys work great but will not take a beating at all. We have killed about a dozen or so in 2 summers of practicing. They tear alot at the handles.
When i bought my SN it was a 5mm stroker with 50mm mrd fuel injection on it. It worked awesome! But the low intakes had me scared of water ingestion so i got rid of it
How does the 09' Sj handle heavy chop racing compared to SXR's?
I havent tried a new one yet but it seems like the heavier and slightly larger SXR would get through it better/faster
Thanks guys, Im running 28deg static with 5000 low, 5/1000 retard and 8000 high.
The plate was as tight as can be when i took it off to check the pickup, but ill get in there again and make sure the timing is where its got to be... I'll probally try lowing it like you said ATS.
Thanks again...
My boat has been running fine for the 3-4 hours ive run the setup this year. Although once in a while it would backfire if I just flipped the MSD power switch on and left the boat alone... It would just pop once and thats it. Did that on 3-4 separate occasions.
But last time I had the boat...
ive got a Rasta A-10 and is the most comfy vest ive ever owned. although on my buddies a-10, there is a button on the single strap to keep it in place. thats already beginning to tear through the strap.
