Run that 8/16 until you can pop for a hooker. I ran a 9/15 hooker on my pump conversion and it made all the difference from a 11/17.

I bought a 650 SN for my wife that raises a lot of eyebrows. Coffman head (says 180psi, never measured it) Coffman pipe, and I'm assuming a low pitched prop. Runs and rides great, I'm scared to jack with it cause it seems like such a well put together ski. All it needs IMO is a shorter pole...

Maybe it has a O-ring around between the sparkplug hole and the cover? I had the same concerns with a Protec Head. I finally just said 'phuck it' and gently pried on both sides and it popped off. Or.............. I don't have a clue what the issue is and you shouldn't listen to me. Your call.

Theres a guy locally who rides with goggles (he's a member) they're more of a single lens with the foam to hold it to your face. Another guy wears sunglasses and a helmet. I can't imagine what salt feels like, at speed fresh (dirty Texas) water stings. I imagine you can get something that...
