x2 I cut my teeth on FX1's and I ride a SJ now. When I climb back on the FX it is very tippy in comparison. FX1's are rewarding to ride, but you may find your first couple rides are eye openers.

Not that couch motors arn't used to it or designed for it, but I'm assuming theyre running WOT the entire time? I'm with 227, pretty cool adaptation to a existing couch. I'm sure the guy who did all the R&D on the 60-70k option is none to pleased with this LOL.

1500 should/ might get you a clean or slightly modded Squarenose SJ with a 650cc. I dunno what the availability/ market is up there (eh), but that's my guess. I suggest saving your money to at least get a Square with a 701, or a FX1. Keep your eye on Craigslist (eh) you'll find something...

Nothing wrong with Raider Trim, or C.A.T.S. cheap ace trim system. IMO, trim is just something else to mess with, something else to adjust and break. Most nozzles are plastic. Really only good for setup wakes. Congrats on your halfa roll... Go get the other half!
