I had a starter issue I fought for quite a while (batteries, charging, jumping, etc) turned out after taking it apart and REALLY inspecting the shaft with all the windings there was one wire that had broken. I felt I was fighting the same issues you described. Finally bit the bullet, got a...
Do you still have that trim gear? Can you tell if the upper arm can be rotated (for a superjet pump)?
Also what would be your paypal price shipped to:

I don't, but the old one would almost go thru the hole and you could barely touch it with your finger when it was stuck. The new one barely fits in the cavity when you put the grate on.
If it's sitting just right on the stand in the water, and it's draining a little, it'll vibrate open and...
3/8 in from OEM on hs needles. Oh and this was a '95 sn.
5000' elevation shows ~ 94% jet reduction on the mikuni pocket tuner. Worked for me on the main jet...not the pilot though. Left that at sea level stock after trying all three sizes down to 62.5. 67.5 had a slight lean hesitation but...

Ended up with the stock pilot (70) but went from 130 to 122.5 mains. Set idle at OEM (7/8 I think). I'm about 3/8 turn in on hs needles and haven't...
Thanks guys. I'll try both of those. I've done the visible exhaust leak check. Nothing noticeable. Hard part is it'll run on land but you have to load the pump to really find out if you've fixed it. Water isn't too close by so it's a pain diagnosing.
I have a 1996 Superjet that is completely stock.
Playing around in water,I did a submerge, came up, made a high speed run for 15 seconds, turned and vhwoomph jetski acts like I lost a cylinder.
I am able to idle it back to shore and back to the trailer, and it acts like if I give it a little...
I had an electrical issue through the July 4th holiday, and contacted Chris. He replied back almost immediately (remember this is a holiday), and sent me the part first thing. His communication was top notch, as well.
Also, after receiving the part, Chris has been stellar in giving me advice...
